With over 20 years of experience in delivering comprehensive engineering solutions, Marc brings a wealth of expertise in design, document preparation, and permitting for a wide range of projects. From municipal developments to redevelopments, mixed-use properties, commercial/industrial ventures, and residential undertakings, Marc's proficiency covers it all.
Marc's diverse skill set includes conceptual layout, utility design, grading, drainage, hydrology, and erosion control. His meticulous attention to detail ensures the completeness and comprehensiveness of studies, reports, manuals, and technical specifications. Marc is well-versed in community development planning and specializes in low-impact design solutions, such as pervious pavement and bioretention facilities, fostering sustainable and environmentally friendly outcomes.
Having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Marc has been a licensed professional engineer in Colorado since 2008. His journey in the field began as a rodman on a survey crew, providing him invaluable insights into various project aspects. Performing inspections for municipal clients further honed his understanding of how different elements interact to produce well-designed and cost-effective solutions.
During his leisure time, Marc immerses himself in the outdoors, indulging in biking, hiking, and playing tennis. He cherishes being part of the health-conscious community in Boulder and has recently taken up gardening as a newfound passion.
Shane Smith

Shane has over 25 years of experience providing construction management, surveying, and construction document preparation and engineering design. His career experience with a diverse collection of land development projects is evident in the skill and knowledge he shares with the Land Pro Civil team. In addition to his design and drafting skills, Shane provides QA/QC for projects the firm takes on. Shane has worked in different engineering roles for several reputable land development civil engineering and surveying firms during his tenure in the industry.
Shane is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Shane receives satisfaction from owning his own company and helping respected colleagues and clients prepare the very best construction documents in the industry. He enjoys cycling, camping, and exploring the great outdoors in his RV.
