Land Pro Civil is run personally by Paul Wallick, PE.
One senior engineer, four state PE licenses, the full civil scope of land development, and fees that don't carry big-firm overhead. Here's the story, the structure, and how we work.
Every Land Pro project is led personally by Paul.
Paul Wallick, PE, founded Land Pro Civil in 2020 after years of senior civil engineering work on residential, commercial, industrial, and solar developments across Minnesota and Colorado. He's a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and holds Professional Engineer licenses in Minnesota, Colorado, North Dakota, and Utah.
On every Land Pro Civil engagement, Paul is the engineer you talk to on the first call, the engineer who solves your site problems, the engineer who coordinates with the reviewing agency, and the engineer who stamps the final plan set. There's no project manager layer to filter through, and no junior engineer learning on your project.
That structure is also why Land Pro Civil is meaningfully more affordable than larger regional firms for comparable scope. Senior expertise without big-firm overhead.

Real Land Pro deliverable: stamped horizontal control plan for a mountain residential subdivision in Tabernash, CO.
Practical engineering, not theoretical engineering.
Land development engineering is a craft. The plans we produce have to work in the real world: through agency review, through construction, and through the freeze-thaw cycle for the next thirty years. We're not optimizing for the most elegant document. We're optimizing for the project that actually gets built.
That shows up in the choices we make. We balance cut and fill instead of just minimizing earthwork on paper. We design drainage that actually has somewhere to go in the field. We coordinate with the reviewing agency early so their feedback shapes the design instead of becoming resubmittals later.
It also shows up in how we communicate. Same-business-day response on inquiries. Direct calls with the engineer, not gatekeepers. Fixed-fee proposals in writing before any work starts. No surprise invoices.
We engineer for the people who move land forward.

The structural reasons Land Pro Civil is a different firm.
Senior PE on every project
No project manager layer. No junior engineer training on your project. The engineer who designs is the engineer who stamps.
Independent-firm fees
No big-firm overhead, no partner-rate billing on routine work, no multi-engineer staffing on single deliverables. Meaningfully more affordable than larger regional firms.
Four state PE licenses
MN, CO, ND, UT. Cross-state coordination on multi-region projects without bringing in another firm.
Full project lifecycle
Feasibility, planning, design, permitting, and construction support, with the same engineer through the whole project.
Plans designed to build
Stamped construction documents that actually work in the field, not just on paper. Fewer change orders. Fewer surprises.
Same-business-day response
New inquiries get a response the same business day. Direct access to the engineer the whole way through.
