The Challenge

This townhome project involved developing a small infill parcel within an established neighborhood in the City of Longmont. The site had limited frontage and required efficient use of space for building footprints, alley-loaded garages, and utility access.

The city's stringent stormwater, utility, and grading requirements added complexity to the design on a constrained urban lot.

Civil Engineering Contributions

Grading and Drainage Design

Developed a grading plan that provided positive drainage away from units while meeting city requirements for slope and accessibility. Drainage patterns were designed to work with the alley-loaded layout and adjacent properties.

Stormwater Compliance
